The convergence of Gina's experiences with a progressive, bohemian, and urban backdrop; provides an electrifying plot journey. But it is done in a new, savvy, and edgy format with unique character development, diversity of character, and tantalizing plot portrayal. Why do I love it? The first thing that comes to mind is Crystal Chappell. Just the fact that she went to the trouble to create this series speaks volumes to me. Of course there are other reasons. The cinematography is beautiful, the story interesting, the acting, outstanding.
What is there not to love? I look forward to experiencing season two. If you have not viewed season one, I highly suggest you give it a chance. Venice is not perfect, but either is life. That like a fine wine.
