Is this stuff available to customers on JD's site any place? End shields, dividers, auger and floor and reel are pretty good indicators of how it's been run. Still looking, hope to find something that is up my standards. The breakdown goes as this. All serial numbers you are interested in, end with 6 numbers. The first three will identify year model. I will give you some examples and they break like this. 1989 starts with 630xxx. 1990-635xxx 1991-640xxx and so on. 1998-675xxx, 1999-680xxx, 2000-685xxx, 2001-690xxx, and so on.

Yours might be little higher but not much, we are pretty particular farmers over here in north east Illinois. They are out their, I looked for about two years. I hope finding a nice 95xx doesn't turn into such a challenge. IL You might want them to run the head before you buy one. We had a 925 that developed a bad shake and we could never correct it until we traded it off for another head.

Traded one in on our 625 that would be as nice as you will find.no cut fingers, poly has 150 acres on it. No dents scrapes etc.

When I found the one I have now, I remember I drug a head trailer a lot of miles to a lot of sales and farmsteads before I ended up with one that was only about 50 miles from me. I will say it matters more what you find under the stainless sheets than about anything else except of course if it is straight or not.
