FBLA-PBL sponsors and partners provide many benefits and programs for members and advisers, including educational programs, scholarships, and discount programs. Sponsors generously provide the cash awards and trophies for the top winners of our National Leadership Conference (NLC) competitive events program and other conference activities.

Association for Information Systems @ Duquesne The Association for Information Systems @ Duquesne (AIS@DUQ) is a student organization dedicated to building the information systems community at Duquesne and connecting with information systems alumni and professionals. The organization holds monthly meetings and annual events attended by individuals from across campus and the region. The organization is open to all Duquesne University students, faculty and staff. Beta Gamma Sigma Beta Gamma Sigma is an international honorary society for schools accredited by AACSB International-The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The Zeta Chapter is chartered at Duquesne University. Membership in this honorary society is limited to juniors and seniors in the top 10 percent of their class and graduate students in the top 20 percent of their class.

Invitation to membership is the highest recognition a business student can achieve from a business program accredited by AACSB International. Duquesne Asset Management Group (DAMG) is a student managed investment club. On a weekly basis, the group meets to discuss prevalent topics relating to capital markets, economic events, and general market news.

The group also manages an equity portfolio throughout the semester, granting members the opportunity to immerse themselves in real life capital market transactions and portfolio management practices. Using state of the art technology in Rockwell Hall’s Investment Center, such as Bloomberg and Morningstar, DAMG provides its members with invaluable hands-on investment experience in preparation for a career in the business world. Economics Student Organization Each semester the Economics Student Organization plans and organizes events designed to stimulate and promote student interest in all aspects of economics. The ESO also works to establish closer ties between students and faculty in economics both at Duquesne and at other colleges and universities. The ESO promotes interaction with local professionals and attempts to expose students to career possibilities in economics.

All of these activities are accomplished by sponsoring seminars, field trips, and other activities of interest to our members. Membership is open to any interested student, regardless of major.
